4. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data to respond to your enquiries and prepare quotes, manage bookings, organise games and issue invoices, send team photos and event information, operate the website securely and reliably, improve our offerings and statistically analyse website usage, and to fulfil our legal obligations, in particular retention obligations.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) and our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).

5. Hosting and log files

This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. When the website is accessed, log files containing the technical data mentioned in section 3 are stored automatically. This data is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period.

6. Cookies

Necessary cookies are used for basic functions, such as language selection. Statistics and marketing cookies are only set with your consent via the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser.

7. Enquiry form and e-mail

When you contact us via the enquiry form or by e-mail, we process your data to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote for you. The form runs on Elementor Pro on our website: your data is stored on our server and sent to us by e-mail. You receive an automatic confirmation at the e-mail address provided.

8. Analytics tools and third-party services

  • Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland): management of website tags, without creating profiles.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google): only with your consent, using truncated IP addresses. A transfer to the United States is possible. Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
  • Google Fonts (Google): when fonts are loaded, your IP address is transmitted to Google.
  • Cloudflare (United States): content delivery network; your IP address is transmitted when scripts are loaded.

  • Regiondo (Regiondo GmbH, Germany): our online booking system. The data entered when booking (name, e-mail, phone, participants, payment) is processed by Regiondo on our behalf.
  • Google Maps (Google): display of the meeting point. Your IP address is transmitted to Google when the map is loaded.
  • YouTube (Google): embedded videos. Data may be transmitted to Google during playback.

9. Social media and WhatsApp

Our website contains links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and WhatsApp. These are simple links: no data is transmitted until you click on a link. Thereafter, the privacy rules of the respective provider apply.

10. Disclosure and transfer abroad

We only disclose your data where necessary for the stated purposes: to IT and service providers, to payment service providers, at your request to catering and aperitif partners, and to authorities where required by law. Some providers are based in the EU or the United States. For countries without an adequate level of data protection, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

11. Retention period

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law. Business records are generally retained for 10 years. Team photos are deleted no later than one month after the event.

12. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased or its processing restricted, to object to processing, to withdraw your consent and to receive your data in a commonly used format. Please send your request to geneve@outdoorescapegames.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

13. Data security
