These T&Cs apply to all bookings and services provided by Liberari GmbH, in particular outdoor and indoor escape games, team building and corporate events, and other game offerings. Deviating agreements are valid only if confirmed in writing, for example in the quote or booking confirmation.
The contract is concluded by an online booking or by our written confirmation of your enquiry or of our quote. The person or company making the booking shall ensure that all participants in their group are aware of and comply with these T&Cs.
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), including statutory VAT, as stated in the booking or quote. The following are charged separately: the deployment of a game master outside Zurich, aperitifs, catering, transport and individual adaptations of the game.
Online bookings are paid at the time of booking by credit card or another payment method offered. Companies, schools and organisations may pay by invoice, payable within 30 days without deduction. On site, payment is possible by credit card or TWINT.
Vouchers are valid for 3 years from their date of issue. Depending on the voucher, they can be redeemed for a specific game or for all standard games. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and lost vouchers will not be replaced.
Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be sent by e-mail to geneve@outdoorescapegames.ch. The date of receipt by us is decisive. Deadlines are calculated in calendar days before the agreed start of the game, and percentages refer to the total price of the booking.
After the deadline for the number of participants, we invoice at least the most recently communicated number. Additional participants are possible subject to availability and are charged extra. Rescheduling is treated as a cancellation followed by a new booking, unless we confirm otherwise in writing. Costs already incurred for additional services such as aperitifs, catering, transport, boat hire or customised game material are charged in all cases.
Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start of the game. In the event of late arrival, the playing time is shortened without any price reduction. If the group has not arrived 30 minutes after the agreed start time, this is considered a no-show.
Our games take place in all weather, and we provide umbrellas and ponchos in case of rain. In extreme weather conditions, we may offer an indoor alternative. Cancellation by the customer for weather reasons is not free of charge unless MeteoSwiss has issued an official severe weather warning for the game location. Otherwise, the conditions in section 6 apply.
If we have to cancel or postpone an event due to severe weather, decisions by the authorities, force majeure or other circumstances endangering safety, we will offer a new date or an indoor alternative, or refund all amounts already paid in full. Any further claims are excluded.
Participation is at your own risk. Children under 10 may only play when accompanied by a responsible adult or as part of a supervised event. The duty of supervision lies with the accompanying adults or the teacher. Persons who are heavily intoxicated, or who endanger or harass others, may be excluded from the game without a refund.
Our games take place in public spaces. Participants must obey traffic rules, show consideration for passers-by and residents and must not enter private or closed areas. It is never necessary to run, climb or damage anything to solve the game.
The game material (iPads, gadgets, bags, boxes, safes, props and game stations) remains the property of Liberari GmbH or our partner Challengebox (challengeboxgames.ch). It must be handled with care and returned complete after the game.
The person or company making the booking is fully liable for any damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence by themselves or their group, in particular in the event of loss, destruction or damage to material belonging to Liberari GmbH or Challengebox. Repair or replacement at current replacement value will be charged, together with any consequential costs, for example for replacement material or the cancellation of subsequent games. Normal wear and tear resulting from proper use is excluded.
We are liable only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, within the framework of the statutory provisions. To the extent permitted by law, any liability is excluded for slight negligence, accidents during the game, lost or damaged personal belongings and for services provided by third parties such as restaurants, boat hire or transport. Participants are themselves responsible for having adequate accident and personal liability insurance.
Certain combined offers are provided by partners, for example indoor games by Challengebox, aperitifs, restaurants or boat hire. The terms and conditions of the respective partners apply additionally to these services.
During the game, we take team photos, which we send by e-mail to the person who made the booking after the event. Publication on our website or on social media only takes place with the consent of the persons depicted. You can find more information in our privacy policy.
The game concepts, puzzles, texts and content are protected by copyright. Copying, publishing or passing on solutions, content or material to third parties is prohibited.
We may amend these T&Cs at any time. The version in force at the time of booking applies.
Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the German version shall prevail.
